Tree of Life Exhibition
Sustainability is the theme of interactive installation Tree of Life, built in a scenic area of 600 square meters at the SESC Pinheiros, São Paulo, receiving visitors between 3 July and 1 August, with free admission. In a creative and artistic, from a curious look and attentive, the project brings the idea that everything can be transformed and that nothing is waste.
The show surprises the visitor since his arrival. The proposed activities are intertwined with the ambiance. The materials were reused after having been collected from various units of the SESC, with remains of exhibitions, reform, banners, fabrics, wood, hardware, and many others that would be destined for recycling and serve both for the ambiance as for the artistic workshops.
All material known as "junk" status reaches of raw material production within a completely handmade, from the collection to the making of objects. All the design and creation of the show was performed by the architect and art director Renato Bolelli Rebouças and Usina da Alegria Planetaria.
The Usina da Alegria Planetaria, located in Embu, São Paulo, is a center generating initiatives and projects aimed at optimizing quality of life on Earth and is made up of artists, educators and communicators. The Instituto Harmonia na Terra is one of its partners.
Besides the scenic space, the Tree of Life project has a number of activities such as workshops carton, sports activities and storytelling.
